Based on the current response to our inquiries with the 350+ finance labs in North America we are showing 55% of the schools with financial services centers have Student Managed Funds. This isn’t polling all business schools; it is only looking at the subset of schools that have both a Student Managed Fund AND a Finance Lab.
From the response we are showing that over $275 Million dollars is currently under management across these labs with the average fund size being $2 million (the Mean Average is $325,000.). This number is heavily skewed by the top 5 funds we have identified below:
- University of Wisconsin Madison = $50,000,000
- University of Minnesota = $35,000,000
- University of Dayton = $21,000,000
- University of Texas Austin = $18,000,000
- University of Arkansas Fayetteville = $10,500,000
