Wells Fargo Uses LED Tickers for Displaying Market Data

Impressed with the company’s “Complete Display Solutions,” Wells Fargo installed Rise’s tickers on three floors of their brand new trading center in New York City. Each floor has a specially designed ticker that starts with a 25-foot section on one side of a wide walkway, and then continues with another 25-foot section on the other side of the large gap. Each 50-foot ticker runs as one complete unit, constantly displaying live Reuters market data and news along with other customized messages.

Lipscomb’s College of Business knew exactly what they wanted — a 17 foot LED ticker display. The College also chose to design, contract and install the Rise Display ticker themselves. Since they had already planned their needs out so precisely, getting the project completed by Rise was a simple matter.

The idea to add the unique ticker to the bus grew from a desire to improve upon the success of the previous season’s tour. “The NBA on ESPN RV Tour is in its second year now,” Mr. Nowicki continues, “so we wanted to find a unique addition to attract even more attention to the RV and the tour. As ESPN is the wide world leader in sports, we felt it was only right that fans should be able to get their up to the minute sports scores and news from the ESPN RV. That’s when we turned to Rise Display.
