Last week we highlighted the interview at the University of Michigan Flint Finance Lab.
This week we are happy to bring you an interview with Margaret Van Brunt, Assistant Dean, Rohrer College of Business at Rowan University.
In September of 2011 the Rohrer College of Business held a bell-ringing ceremony to dedicate their state-of-the-art trading room spearheaded by twin brothers Andy and Scott Schwartz, wealth management advisors for Northwestern Mutual Financial Network along with many other generous donors.
The trading room – a modern, glass-walled space on the second floor of Bunce Hall, features a large interactive LCD video wall at the front and is flanked by custom, full color LED stock tickers in the front and rear of the lab. The room features 27 computer terminals to crunch data in near-real time. While the room is used for many different finance classes one of the most exciting uses of the room is the management of the student managed Rohrer College Investment Fund that was started in the spring of 2001.
We would encourage you to take a few minutes to watch the short video interview highlighting the use of their digital signage in the classroom.
