Interactive Item Profiler Gadget

The Interactive Item Profiler allows a user to create an interactive experience in their Presentation where users can interact with profiles that can contain an image and text about that profile.

Enter the HTML URL, which is responsible for how the content will be arranged in the Placeholder.

Enter the Data Source URL. Typically a Spreadsheet, this is arranged in a fashion that can be interpreted by the HTML page to show all the data included in the Spreadsheet when a user interacts with the Gadget.

Choose the Data Refresh Interval in minutes. This is how long the Gadget will wait before checking for updates to the Data Source URL. The Default is Do Not Refresh.

This Gadget relies on the Rise Display Proxy for providing the images listed in the Data Source URL. This can be installed and managed on the Display via the Rise Display Auto Update program, which can be downloaded here.

The Interactive Item Profiler uses the Company and Display ID to verify if it is licensed or not for the specific Company or Display. It checks in every 24 hours to see if the licensing state has changed, and if the Company or Display changes from licensed to unlicensed, a message stating “Not Authorized” will show in place of the Interactive profiles.
