Rise helps First State Bank and Trust deliver the perfect mix of messages to its customers
"We wanted to be able to create our own product-specific ad content and be able to mix that with local news programming. The Rise product fit that need perfectly." That's Erica Clark, Marketing Assistant at First State Bank & Trust, describing how they came to choose Rise Display's electronic display services for the newest of their eight banking locations in Kansas. The two 46" NEC LCD displays that now inform customers at their Tonganoxie branch are First State's first foray into digital messaging. "We did not have any type of interior electronic message display prior to working with Rise," explains Ms. Clark. "We used printed materials such as lobby posters, table tents, etc." The bank's motto, "Where banking is still a people business", makes it clear that First State puts a high priority on communicating effectively to their customers. So the move to electronic messaging was a natural progression, opening up all kinds of new possibilities for them to tailor and focus their messages – and turn some heads along the way. The bright displays are situated prominently in the new branch's main public area, and their eye-catching designs serve up a rich mix of customized bank announcements, current news and stock quotes. Once they decided to switch to electronic signage, why did they choose Rise Display specifically? "We wanted to be able to create our own content that would mix with local news programming," says Ms. Clark. She's referring to the Rise Display Network, an essential part of the Rise display solution that lets Ms. Clark and her colleagues design their own display messages and add them to the mix using user-friendly online software. She says they found other companies' display software offerings too inflexible to let them tailor the content of their own signs. "For a brief time we considered another display company, but we didn't like the 'canned' commercial options and the fact that the news was not current. Rise fit our need." Noting that it will take time to learn how best to take full advantage of all of the features that Rise Display Network has to offer, Ms. Clark says that reactions to their new system were positive from the start. "We are still getting used to having this product; finding our comfort level with the software and how to create effective messages – but the feedback has been positive overall. We expect to hear more from our customers as we learn more about what works best in that bank." How does she sum up their experience with digital signage and Rise Display's services? "Great experience. Great support. We're very happy. We have only scratched the surface of what this product will do for us." |
